Comecer Scientific Bootcamp: Where Science Meets Experience

Three days of learning, collaboration and discovery at the intersection of science, innovation and real-world experience. Hosted at Comecer Headquarters, the first Scientific Bootcamp brought together students, researchers, professors and industry professionals from around the world to explore the present and future of radiopharmaceutical sciences.

A place where knowledge becomes experience

The Comecer Scientific Bootcamp was created with a simple vision: bringing together education, research and industry in a unique learning environment.
Designed as a satellite initiative of the 12th International Conference on Isotopes (12ICI), the program offered participants the opportunity to move beyond traditional classroom learning and immerse themselves in an experience where scientific knowledge meets practical application.
Throughout the Bootcamp, participants explored the radiopharmaceutical field through expert lectures, discussions and hands-on activities, gaining a broader understanding of the technologies and processes that are shaping the future of nuclear medicine.

THE EXPERIENCE - Learning beyond the classroom

The Bootcamp was designed to provide a comprehensive view of the radiopharmaceutical ecosystem. From isotope production and radiochemistry to theragnostics and clinical applications, participants had the opportunity to discover the entire journey behind radiopharmaceutical innovation.

What made the experience unique was the combination of international scientific expertise and direct exposure to real-world technologies, allowing participants to connect theory with practice and deepen their understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the field.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE KNOWLEDGE - Learning from international experts

At the heart of the Scientific Bootcamp were the mentors: internationally recognized professionals from academia, research institutions, foundations and industry who shared their expertise, experiences and perspectives with participants.
Their contribution transformed the Bootcamp into an open forum for discussion, enabling participants to engage directly with experts working on some of the most exciting developments in radiopharmaceutical sciences today.

A GLOBAL COMMUNITY - Connecting talent, cultures and ideas

The first edition of the Scientific Bootcamp attracted applications from multiple countries around the world, confirming the growing interest in radiochemistry, isotope production and nuclear medicine.

Students, researchers, professors and industry professionals came together in a shared environment where diverse perspectives fostered meaningful discussions, new connections and valuable knowledge exchange.

For many participants, the experience extended beyond technical learning, creating relationships and conversations that will continue long after the event itself.

COMECER'S COMMITMENT - Building the future through education

Through the Scientific Bootcamp, Comecer reinforces its commitment to fostering knowledge, encouraging collaboration and creating opportunities for future generations of professionals in radiopharmaceutical sciences.

By opening its doors to students, researchers and experts from around the world, Comecer contributes to the growth of a community united by a common goal: advancing healthcare through innovation, science and shared expertise.

More than a Bootcamp

The first Scientific Bootcamp was not simply an educational program. It was a meeting point between academia and industry, between experienced professionals and future leaders, between scientific knowledge and practical application. An experience built around learning, sharing and discovering what is possible when science and collaboration come together.
